We will show you a game we created on scratch, and then break it down, explaining the fundamentals and core codes. Now for our pro coders, we have the perfect thing for you. We are going to do a competition where you have to code a game in 10 minutes. And now for the best part, there is a prize for 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place! By the end of the session, you will have learned the basics to coding. This will be a fun learning experience for future coders! We hope to see y'all there!
Welcome to The Pottery Passport: Shaping the World! We’re Mahika, Briseidy, Carmen, and Favour, and we’re here to show you that pottery isn’t just dusty, old museum stuff. Instead of a long lecture, we will get right into the studio portion where you’ll learn different sculpting techniques from different areas around the world, to create your own custom clay project. Whether you want to build a cup, plate, or bowl, or a simple sculpture, whatever you want to make is up to you! After you finish sculpting and drying the clay, you might even get to create your own pattern to paint on our custom design! We’ve got all the clay and paint ready to go, and this is your chance to get creative, hang out, and take home something unique that you made with your own hands. All you have to do is show up and be ready to have fun!
